Here are my thoughts. Who is really elite anymore?

DJ and Bell and Zeke? Is the talent even there for zeke or does he just get touches and have a good line?
I understand the concern but there is serious concern with every single RB and the lifespan is so short anyway that you should just stock the shelf and ride them while they get touches.

Many are not happy with Miller either (me as well). But he will still get touches and that is what you want.

This kind of peaked my interest so I decided to look it up. A couple of these are probably debatable, but there could be up to 16 or so.

Now as for which are long-term 3-down RB's, that's maybe a different story. But I feel like this is the current list.

Gurley looked better than his usual self this game.

If the Rams continue to use him in the passing game this way that vastly improves his potential.

Will be interested to see if it keeps up, one game should not be changing minds.

Why wouldn't you keep using him in the passing game? That's my question. He has looked pretty good coming out of the backfield and may not be LeVeon or McCoy, but he's not Alfred Morris either. He should always get 3-4 catches per game which gives him an additional upside of 5-10 points depending on the yardage/PPR/TD's like this past week.

Gurley has always been an excellent pass catching RB. This has been doubted by some in the past and it is laughable. The only reason he was not used extensively as a pass catcher these past two years is Jeff Fisher. McVay is a very adept offensive coach. It would not surprise me if Gurley is the top receiving back in the league this year now with DJ's injury.

I know a lot of people still think Hunt is just a guy in a good spot but there is no way Gurley even comes close to scoring on that play where Hunt scored his 2nd TD this week.

Through two weeks, Gurley is producing how every one that owned him hoped he would once Jeff Fisher left. At this point, anyone trying to buy him from you is a believer...at least to some extent...so, I wouldnt be looking to sell unless I am blown away. Having said that, personally, I am ok with being 100% wrong on this guy and losing out on a future 1st round pick (or whatever he is going for these days) as draft picks are just as unknown. But I would not be ok with missing out on the 2015 Gurley. Just have to weigh the pros and cons and your risk tolerance.

As the receiving options get better, he may get less involved in the passing game. Or he will stay involved. Only time will tell.

With that said, for anyone who is interested - his touches from week 2.

Looked like a mix bag to me, some great cuts that lead to extra yards, getting to the outside with some speed and just generally getting open/producing on the screen game.

I think he will still be pretty involved in the pass game as a check down option similar to Melvin Gordon but only time will tell. Gurleys stock should be rising as of right now, glad I didn't sell low in the off season.

Gurley, my man, I know you have 3 TDs but you've been stuffed on 1 yd goal line runs 4 times tonight! Could have 5 TDs right now.
