DJ or McCaffrey/Landry?

For team A below. I'm proposing the McCaff/Landry trade to DJ owner and he said he will consider/think about it.. but now I'm wondering if I should have asked for a mid-lower tier WR in return. Any insight would be appreciated.. acquiring DJ obviously is a great opportunity, but not sure if I'm offering to overpay or not. Please only pick the third option if you think that DJ alone would be poor return on McCaffrey and Landry.

You're no where close to overpaying. Getting him to add to DJ is hilarious because DJ is worth a lot more than McCaffrey and Landry. You can add your 1st rounder in there and I wouldn't take it for DJ. If hes seriously considering your offer ahead and add your 2nd rounder and steal DJ away right now.

Great. I'm not sure whether or not he'll want to go through with it, but I just didn't want to have buyers remorse and hurt my first dynasty team before the season starts. Thanks for the feedback.

If he said he was thinking about it, that means he is messing with you because that trade offer is a joke for DJ.

I know whenever someone wants one of my players at half price I always tell them I am thinking hard and then I just let the bad offer expire.

Yes, DJ is the better half of this deal. If he is contemplating it, add your 2nd round pick to "sweeten the cake" per say. Try and get that snipe in before he realizes that you'd win this trade.

Not true.. he's the one that is shopping DJ because he is struggling for starters elsewhere in his lineup. Mine is actually the best offer on the table according to him, but he's not quite there to take the plunge. That being said, I assume adding a 1st would still be reasonable? I tried offering a 2nd, but he is speculating it will be a late 2nd and isn't super confident in his ability to make a good pick that late.
