Target Luck?
Target Luck?
So with Luck still on the PUP list and potentially missing the first six weeks should I target him in a trade? I would offer up Ryan++ for him, roll with Palmer until he returns. Or should I stick with what I have.

I'd try and take advantage of any discount on Luck if you could.

Re: Target Luck?
Yeah, if you can find a Luck owner to discount him, then absolutely take advantage. I'm on board with that.Spongehack wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 10:45 am I'd try and take advantage of any discount on Luck if you could.

Re: Target Luck?
Agree, get Luck if you can get a discount.
Re: Target Luck?
Great time to buy him I think, people are panicking over a couple weeks like this ain't dynasty or something. I picked him up in my 10 team league a few weeks ago, got him for Montgomery, Perkins, and Cobb. And in my 12 team, superflex, 1/4pt per carry league, I bought him yesterday. Luck, Hyde, C. Davis for Stafford, M. Gordon, Treadwell. So I'm loving the discount on him right now.
Re: Target Luck?
Do you all play with redraft players in these leagues? I can't see any dynasty owner selling him at a discount over a couple of missed weeks.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
Re: Target Luck?
My thoughts exactly... if you can get him for any sort of discount, you may as well take advantage of that arbitrage

Re: Target Luck?
I wouldn't offer Ryan +. Straight up Ryan for straight up Luck, unless you have other moving parts on both sides.
Discount is great, but just to put a cap on expectations, locals here in Colts country are pretty dammed pissed that coach and GM haven't done anything to keep Ryan upright in 3 years of play. All these beatings he has gotten are taking a toll and he may be older than his birth-certificate (27) claims. Making matters a bit pressing this year is starting Center and Alabama bad hombre Ryan Kelly is going to IR with foot surgery.
