Yeah, I'm really going to have to cut someone I don't want to, to keep him...

I got him for like 1% after this last game. No one else bid. In another league, he was picked up for free a week and a half ago by the Rawls owner.

He hasn't went for much in most of my leagues so far but I have a feeling that his price tag will go up in this weeks bidding period. I wish I knew a good % to put on it because I'm going to bid on him in a couple of leagues this week, but pretty much just taking a shot in the dark in how much that I bid.

It is dependent on roster size. The smaller your league rosters I would say the cheaper you can bid. The larger the rosters the more expensive. Smaller rosters have deeper waiver wires and less room to stash players. League in sig is IDP, 35 man roster plus 4 taxi, so the waiver wire is empty. I bid one third of my budget for him. Another owner I know of bid 10%. A third may have been overkill as 15% would have probably done the job but I wanted to be sure to get him.

I drafted him last night at 2.09 in my 10-team. Nobody knew who he was, and we have some Seattle fans in the league. Hah! Should have waited longer.

Do we think this guy has carved out a role or will he just be another preseason darling?

He's insurance for Lacy and Rawls. But given both players tendencies to either get injured, or underwhelm, it's quite possible Carson will earn playing time at some point. Out of the gate? I doubt it. But over the course of the season I'd virtually count on it.

As a Hawks fan I can tell you:

They cut Alex Collins to keep him. They really liked Collins potential, so they have to like Carsons more.

Also I'm the biggest Rawls fan but his running style doesn't lead to full healthy seasons, Lacy only had 2 good runs all preseason, and Prosise seems to be another injury bug. I think Carson will have a few games where he starts this year, but probably not winning the job outright. At best he'd be leading the committee, maybe commanding 55% of the snaps the back half of the season if Rawls goes down again.

This seems spot-on to me. Rawls will get hurt and Lacy can't get past the jelly donut in front of him. I could easily see Carson starting multiple games in the second half of the season. Very easily. In my 25-man, 12 team leagues I'm planning on 25% of my $100 budget. I also wouldn't be surprised if I don't get him in every league I bid that.

How many team league? I'm kinda desperate for RB, but not sure if I want to drop Ertz for him

I don't care about the fact that he was a 7th round pick. When he was with the 1s Russel Wilson trusted him out of the backfield as a receiver and he showed some impressive burst hitting the hole. Hoping I hit something with this guy. Like some have said above that Prosise, Rawls, and Lacy have all either been unimpressive or injured for the past few years.
I may or may not be related to Bryan Edwards

With a full quarter left to play Carson has 5 rushes for 40 yards compared to Lacy having 5 rushes for 3 yards. Prosise has 3 for 11.

We have a usurper on our hands! Really time to pay attention now!!!
