Gillislee, Coleman, Henry, Mixon

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Gillislee, Coleman, Henry, Mixon

Postby bigbuck22 » Mon Jul 17, 2017 2:17 pm

Looking to add a RB to improve depth and perhaps withstand injuries. The guys I am looking at include Gillislee, T Coleman, D Henry, or Mixon. Obviously the price for these four differ across the spectrum.
Same guy has Gillislee and Coleman. I tried throughout spring to snag Coleman however the owner is skeptical about losing depth because "the Dixon suspension kills" him. Since then I added Woodhead so perhaps that could change things.
Another owner has both Henry and Mixon.

My preference would be to work a deal around Parker or Treadwell.

Pick your target and construct me an offer to approach these guys.

Thanks

Henry isn't worth his going rate IMO. Mixon would be my target if he somehow slipped in your draft and maybe is valued lower, but need more context. Personally I'd try to trade Ajayi for him, but that defeats the purpose of what youre trying to do.

People on here seem to love Crowder, I don't. so id be trying to deal him/adams

I've tried Parker for those guys. Willing to add but what...

I doubt Parker and Crowder together get you Mixon or Henry, but if they do, I'd probably do it for either.

Coleman's the best value right now relative to his asking price imo, you're going to have to overpay for Mixon or Henry in all likelihood.

Mixon and Henry's prices are almost at their peak right now, so it's a bad time to buy. The Henry owner is probably holding from this time last year! I would try for them a couple games into the season where they hopefully haven't done much yet.

Parker or Crowder would probably land Gillislee, or Decker if the owner is a contender. Your team is very close to being a contender, so I wouldn't move Woodhead in trying to get Dixon.
Team 1 - 12 team PPR Superflex TE Premium, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Flex, 1Superflex, .2 points/carry

WR- Julio, Jordy, Dez, Baldwin, Edelman, E.Decker, T.Jones
TE- Gronk, T.Kelce, G. Everett
2018 picks- 2

Team 2 - 12 team PPR, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2 Flex, .2 points/carry

I'm not looking to acquire Dixon. My thinking was that perhaps moving Woodhead as part of a deal to the Dixon owner in an attempt to get Coleman might alleviate his hesitation to trade a RB because of the suspension Dixon is facing.
