Where would you draft Gillislee in a rookie draft?

I'd take him in the mid second at the earliest. He has huge TD upside but very risky with week to week production

If this is a bestball league then I might chance it with a late second, but if it isn't then I'd say 3.1+. It'll be hard to pick the weeks he does well.

Someone voted first round... jeepers. I only just noticed this was for 10 team league. I already voted 3+ but knowing that, it should push most of the votes for 2nds down into the 3rd as well. He's not even a flex play most weeks in a 10 team league.

In a 10 team, it's got be the 3rd or later. I wouldn't count out James White, he was a huge resource in the superbowl, they also brought in burkhead, and they still have Lewis. It's crowded, and New England's backfield is perpetual frustration. They will have a player blow up and then really never play him again (Jonas Gray), they scheme different players every week, you never know who to start and you'll always pick the wrong weeks. It's not worth the headache. I'd rather the upside of someone like one of the J. Williams' (Joe, or Jamaal, and especially Jonathan is he is somehow on waivers) than take the frustration of Gillislee. All of them at least have the opportunity to take over a backfield, NE is likely always a committee

Missed that it was 10 team. I voted 2.4-2.6, but almost voted 2.7-2.10 still thinking it was 12 team. so in 10-team, right around the 2/3 turn it starts to make sense.

If I told you that Rookie RB 'X' were likely to have around 1,000 yards and 10 TDs -- as a floor -- for the next 2-4 seasons, you wouldn't give up a late-first round pick? Most of the guys drafted in rounds 2 or later will NEVER have 2-4 seasons with that kind of production.

Are you saying that Gillislee has a floor of that for the next 2-4 seasons??
If so I think thats a bit crazy to come out and say given how crowded that backfield is.
