Michael Thomas or 1.02 +

Team 2 in my sig. I just traded R. Cobb for Prosise & Perriman, owner of Thomas contacted me and offered me the following

I give: 1.02, Prosise & Either 1.11 or my 2018 First.
I get: Thomas

Now I'm feeling pretty good about how the team is shaping up after a full blown 3 year rebuild. I like the idea of adding another big threat WR to go with Hopkins, Watkins & Alshon. But I also have a bunch of talent with potential in Tread, CC, DParker & Perriman.

With that said im also pretty happy sitting by and picking a stud RB with pick 1.02. Another owner has picks 1.01 & 1.03, I know he wants to get C. Davis and one of the RB's. I told him if Davis was there at 2 I would be taking him so there is a good chance ill be looking at Fournette or Mixon with 2.

I think I can probably convince him to drop the 2nd 1st or add a 2nd rounder coming back to me. But is this even something I should pursue?

I know Thomas is the flavor of the offseason but there are plenty of good WRs developing each and every year. Stay patient, there's a handful of Michael Thomas' to be had in the draft.

Doesn't look like you particularly need him based on your team, you do need some top end RB talent. Keep the picks and Prosise.

In a vacuum I would agree with this, but if you look at team need it doesn't seem to fit. I think Thomas got a huge bump with them moving Cooks, but is he going to give you enough to offset the lack of quality RB's?

I would too. Procisse does not excite me at all. Add him to the long list of passing down backs that never see enough work to be useful.

Prosise is overrated and Thomas is about as good as you can ask for heading into his sophomore season with Drew Brees.

The 1.02 has all the lure, but I'm not as high as some are with this rookie class. The top guys all have question marks to me

2 lottery tickets and a meh passing down RB for a top 15 dynasty asset with a year of proven production in the NFL.

I'd keep the pieces. Prosise believer and think Thomas isn't going to be as productive as the #1 as everyone seems to think.

Prosise is a throw in, so it comes down to:

1.02 & 1.11

I think value wise Thomas is the better side and you could probably flip him for more than Fournette/Mixon if you don't like him or want better RB depth.

I would hold the 1.02 and offer the 1.11 and the 2018 first and Prosise.....then take the best RB on the board....and you upgraded both...
