What to do with Rawls...(POLL)
What to do with Rawls...(POLL)
What is everyone doing with Rawls? Is he still a hold? Is the 2.4 enough to ship him off? Debating if I want to trade him or not. The Lacy owner sent me an offer and I might counter with Rawls for the 2.4. Thoughts?

Re: What to do with Rawls...(POLL)
I just traded him for the 2.6 and drafted JuJu with the pick. There were also plenty of other solid options available as well. I have no clue what Seattle is doing at RB this year. They just picked up Mike Davis off waivers too. Way too murky there for me. Sell sell sell
Re: What to do with Rawls...(POLL)
I'd sell for 2.04. I think he's less than a coin flip at this point, so I'd take the 2.04 and get a slightly younger coin flip with undoubtedly better draft pedigree.

We have also seen him lose his starting job. The ship is sailing and the 2.04 is a hell of a deal.Oddball456 wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 7:03 am2.04 would be a steal to get Rawls? Or the other way around?
I am holding for the 2.4 - the 2.4 is a dart throw and we have seen that Rawls can produce at the NFL level.

Sorry, should have clarified. I'd rather have the 2.04. This is a very deep draft and I'd rather have the upside of whatever rookie goes there than Rawls.Oddball456 wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 7:03 am2.04 would be a steal to get Rawls? Or the other way around?

"Mike Davis will struggle to make the cut" (forget where I read this).
Pete Carrol: "Challenge accepted, Mike Davis to start"
Not really (I hope) but would take those mid 2nd offers in a heartbeat. There is talent on both sides of the ball in that range in this draft.

Rawls just can't stay healthy, isn't a factor in the passing game and has lacy in front of him. I would sell him for any 2nd

I value Rawls around 2.06-2.08, but I'm also a Lacy believer.

Re: What to do with Rawls...(POLL)
Not sure why the community has soured on Rawls to such a degree. Yeah, the situation is kinda murky and he's been dinged up, but when he's healthy, he seemed to be Pete's clear preference. He was the featured back at the end of last season and put up 161 yards and a TD as recently as their second-to-last game.
I offered him to the Lacy owner for 1.12 earlier in the offseason and got declined. Maybe I'm just being stubborn, but I'd rather hold than trade for a mid 2nd. At the very least, I think that he's the best piece of the Seattle backfield to own. I wouldn't trade him straight up for Lacy or Prosise.

Re: What to do with Rawls...(POLL)
I wouldn't blame a Rawls owner for holding. But the reason why Pete seemed to prefer him was because there was no one else available. It seemed like CJ was going to take over a lot of the snaps, but ended up getting hurt himself. At that point, there was no competition left. Outside of one good game where he rushed for 106 yards, he looked terrible in the others and his second highest total rushing for the season was 67.M-Dub wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 9:11 am Not sure why the community has soured on Rawls to such a degree. His rushing #s on the season:
Week 1: 12 - 32
Week 2: 7 - -7 (and an injury)
Missed weeks 3-10
Week 11: 14 - 57
Week 12: 12 - 38
Week 13: 15 - 106 - 2 (only good game of the year)
Week 14: 12 - 67 (not bad, unless you're playing PPR - only had 1 catch for 7 yards)
Week 15: 21 - 34 (Yuck)
Week 16: 8 - 8 (Yuckier)
He had a total of 13 catches for 96 yards on the season, which equates to just over 1 catch per game and about 10 yards. For a player who doesn't catch many passes, he needs to score more than 2 TDs (both in the same game) to have value.

He was slow coming back from his ankle injury.
Mid round two seems to be fair. I'm gonna offer rd 3 when I'm up but I doubt it gets accepted.
