Ingram Trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Ingram Trade

Postby gabes1919 » Mon May 08, 2017 7:02 pm

I've been offered:

My Eddie Lacy and Randall Cobb
for
Their Mark Ingram, Tyler Lockett, 2.12

I'm interested in Ingram and Lockett (could care less for the 2.12 but it's value I guess) but I'm having a really hard time with this one in my mind. It seems like both positions match up evenly, Lacy/Ingram both are good RBs who have done it before but have rough situations, Cobb/Lockett were both WR2 in their offenses and maybe are now WR3 but with a lot of talent. Should I be seeking more? The only other real pieces available from him in that ball park are 2.09, Cam Meredith and Jeremy Maclin.

I think I'd do it. I like Ingram considerably more than Lacy, and I like Lockett and Cobb about the same. It's good value and fine for your team.

I prefer the Lacy side.

I'll take the Ingram side. Hard to trust Lacy and not sure if GB will be moving on from Cobb. Ingram may find another home with a crowded backfield now in NO.

I'd vote Ingram side. Between the two muddied backfields, Ingram has the better opportunity, plus, like Posternutbag4 says, Ingram may be on the move yet before the start of the season.
