Help me make an offer for OBJ

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Help me make an offer for OBJ

Postby nathanq42 » Sun Apr 23, 2017 5:45 pm

Cooks, dez, 1.06, 2.04
For
Obj 1.03?
Train of thought
Obj = 3 first allegedly
Cooks and dez should be worth 1.5-2 firsts each right?
So obj=< Cooks, Dez
1.03>1.06, 2.04
Worth a shot?
I'd be cool with adding ware to that if this doesn't get it done
Thoughts? Too much? too little? Would it be gutting my team too much?

TE: M. Andrews, G. Everett, D. Knox, D. Schultz, D. Waller
TAXI:T. Chandler, E. Dotson, J. McLaughlin, D. Ridder

Maybe gets accepted if you take the 1.03 out of it

I'm going to guess he wouldn't trade obj for cooks + dez or 1.03 for the 2 picks. Have to way overpay to get obj. Can't hurt to throw it out there thought I suppose.

This is probably closer. I hate the whole, "x player is worth x amount of 1sts." I don't even know what that means. Are we talking mid firsts, early firsts, what? And what is 1.5 firsts? A 1st and a 2nd?

The 2 best assets in the deal are on the OBJ and 1.03 side. Easy decline.

You're better off looking for RB help.

1.03 is somehow a better asset than dez or cooks now?

OBJ is someone you are going to have to overpay for. I offered Allen, Alshon, Ingram and 1.10 and was rejected without a counter.

If you want it to work, I suggest adding a RBand dropping the 1.03. Sell the person on overhauling their roster in one offseason

but at that point is it worth it?

like it'd be awesome to have him, but will he outscore dez and cooks and an RB on his own, even over the course of a whole career... I doubt it

As an asset before any players have been drafted, yes. The unknown of the pick is most appealing at this time of year and has and will continue to get people to make crazy offers.

Agreed!

I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

I'm going to bet this doesn't get accepted, but for your sake, I hope it does.
