I would want more. Not saying that's correct, but I'm not taking the risk, losing a difference maker production in 2017, then potentially only get a late 1st out of it to try to salvage things. I'd sit pat and try to win now with the guarantee.

Other thing is that none of the 3 backs are old or have much wear on them. Definitely a couple top 4 picks and that will get the discussion going.

Thanks for the replies guys , how about some examples of a player along with the 1.1. Throw out some names of players along with the 1.1 to get Zeke,Dj or Bell

Depending on whether you think Fournette or Cook is the 1.1 at the moment...I just traded this for Zeke:

L. Fournette + Corey Davis + 1.06 (Devy league so this is obviously not the "real" 1.06, more like 1.12-2.02)

I ran a poll on Twitter that got 300 votes and the results were 54%-46% in favor of the LF/Davis side.

So I think that 1.1 + 1.04 + something interesting seams about right.


p.s. for the poll I used S. Ware instead of the draft pick because I just traded Ware for the pick, and I didn't have the characters to correctly explain it's true value.

Skip nailed it. I don't think most Zeke are owners are interested in trading for "fair", so you'll probably have to put some sprinkles on the deal.

I would say 1.05 with 1.01 is "fair" whether they would accept who knows.

I think say 1.01 And 1.03-1.04 gets it done but most don't want to "pay that"

I'd need a lot more. Those guys have proven to be the best in the league at their positions and they are young. I value proven assets more than draft picks though.

The "possession bias" that comes with owning the 1.01 would make me hesitate to part with the pick + something else of significance, even though it would clearly be needed to acquire any of the 3 RB's listed. Think it thru. If LF / Cook turn out to be who they're supposed to be, it's not at all unlikely that they join the ranks of the elite RB's mentioned in rather short order. If that happens, adding a significant piece to the 1.01 would have to stir some regret in retrospect. Then again, the risk to rookies is always great, even early 1st rounders, so I'd probably add somebody like Latavius or Ware. Or JMatt or Kelvin on the WR side. That may or may not get the deal done, but I wouldn't give much more. Great question, BTW.
