Welcome

Welcome to the redraft discussion forum. To help our redraft brothers and sisters, this forum has been created so that you don't have to use different sites for your different formats. Be sure to tell your league-mates that DLF is the only place they need for quality ffb discussion.

Great Idea! Would keeper leagues be included in this forum?

I had the same question, but I've seen keeper league discussion in the dynasty forum often. I could see it staying that way, or having it's own forum. In my mind it's a hybrid of dynasty/redraft, at least my keeper league feels that way.

I just asked about this during the week on the forum. Coincidence? Great idea since so many of us junkies are in different types of leagues. Cheers.

I would think keeper league belongs here - keeping two or three players is a lot closer to a redraft than a dynasty.

WEllllll. If a league lets you keep a couple players it is closer to a re-draft in that you only can keep one and not all 25 or whatever.

However, if you can keep that one or two guys forever such is the case with Dynasty it might be worth considering in that context as well. In other words, drafting those one or two players might want to be viewed as drafting a dynasty player because you can keep em like a dynasty guy.

If you can only keep em for one or two years like my keeper league then that adds even another twist.

Strictly from the standpoint of how to "draft" and "value" said player as a keeper ...if you can keep him forever..it warrants consideration from a dynasty perspective.

This is great - I already got a heads up from team advice to post my question here. I play in 90 percent dynasty leagues with IDP - 1 keeper league with team D and 2 redraft leagues with IDP - I am so used to dynasty I have a hard time with evauluating redraft value of players. I read a lot from sites and it is great to knwo that DLF is branching out!

Thanks!

I would think it would help maybe to do a Redraft rankings list like the other lists on the main page such as the competing and rebuilding team rankings.

We've noted that as well ... just trying to make sure that we can keep up with our content schedule for the Dynasty format first and foremost ... but we agree with you.
