Outside of Zeke. Who in this class looks like they could be the best 3 down back?

Paul Perkins

Personally I'm in love with Perkins. I think the poor man's Jamaal Charles comparisons are accurate, and there is a lot of things he does very well. Very good vision as a runner, and can cut on a dime. I don't really understand the concerns about his size so much, either. While he's not Derrick Henry, he measured in at 5'10 208 at the combine, and Jamaal Charles, for comparison, measured at 6'1 200 (ESPN has Charles at 5'11 199). LeSean measured in at 5'10 198 at his combine, as another example. Of course, both Charles and McCoy are elite examples, but it's a statement to the fact that Perkins' size is not really as small as some claim it to be. If Perkins can get to 210-215 in the pros while not losing any speed, it will help him have a good, steady career.

Imo he's got perennial top 10 RB potential if given 3 down back work on a competent offense.

Give me Dixon. I think he runs very hard with terrific agility/quickness and proven production. He may be the the best receiving running back in this draft as well. Very willing blocker.

Perkins does not look like a guy who can run inside in the NFL. He looks like a COP back to me.

Reminds me of Melvin Gordon running inside, though. Doesn't consistently push the pile, and tries to bounce outside way, way too often.

Interesting. I'll have to compare the two. Haven't seen that but more than willing to re-evaluate.

K. Dixon, think he'll be a pleasant surprise to the team that drafted him. Looked good even though he didn't put up the stats against some bigger programs- mainly due to Oline being dominated.

Probably Dixon but Henry can actually be a decent receiving option in time.
