Cierre Wood vs Ray Graham

Postby meineymoe » Sat Jun 15, 2013 1:06 pm

I know that it is for the RB3 on the Texans, but with the possibility of Ben Tate leaving town next season, and possible concerns over Arian Foster's decline, which of these rookie RBs would you stash for the future?

I voted for Graham... don't know much about Wood

I think Graham fits their offense a bit better than Wood, but I voted Wood as I like his size more, but I don't think either see any time in the future.

Of those 2 I like Graham better, if he can regain his pre-injury form. But I'm stashing Dennis Johnson instead.

It doesn't matter what we want. Once we get it, we want something else.

You're welcome!

This was just posted a few minutes ago on Rotoworld:
(Rotoworld) Rookie RB Dennis Johnson has reportedly been the most impressive undrafted free agent in the Texans' offseason program. Analysis: A favorite of Rotoworld draft guru Josh Norris, Johnson is undersized (5'7/196) but fits the Texans' system "ideally" per beat writer John McClain. Johnson is experienced in blitz pickup and an excellent receiver out of the backfield. He ran 4.48 at the Arkansas Pro Day. Johnson is competing with Cierre Wood and Ray Graham for one or two roster spots behind Arian Foster and Ben Tate.

Take it for what it's worth, considering there have been no pads or hitting yet.

Looks like Wood has the edge right now for a roster spot.

There's nothing really impressive IMO about Wood, but I think he'll be a nice fit for the ZBS--
Texans seems to like him. I like Dennis Johnson more, but what do I know

Wood and Johnson have both gotten an article about them hyping them up. So obviously nobody really knows. I prefer Graham because I liked him in College by a good bit before he got hurt, and love his game. He's a great fit. That said, it's hard to really pick a guy because it's 3 UDFA's and neither could be the RBotf. Tate could re-sign, they could draft another guy, just hard to tell.

But even though Wood and Johnson both have had articles saying they are the best back for the #3 back duties I still go with Graham because I'm going with my guy on the guy I personally like the most.
