Mark Ingram vs Chris Ivory

Jus curious on this one. Personally I think it's a toss up unless both get equal number of carries feel Ingram can outperform Ivory.

Ingram. I think he approaches RB2 #'s finally with Sean Payton back. I also don't trust Ivory for all 16 or the Jets O. However, as an owner of both, I couldn't be happier that they are apart from each other.

Ivory is the #1 back in a poor offense that wants to get back to running the ball.

Ingram is in a crowded backfield in a pass first, pass second and just to be sure pass some more offense.

Ivory is the back I'd rather own. I don't want anything to do with Ingram.

Good points, but given the NYJ malaise and Ivory's injury risk, I prefer Ingram.

Saints were ranked 6th in rush 2009 yr they went to Super Bowl. They want to run the ball . Ivory and Ingram played same role in offense. Trade shows they want to give Ingram a chance. All that's in front of him is a 3rd down rec back Sproles and P Thomas who was put on IR end of season. Plus Ingram was 1st rd pick Saints traded up to get. Don't know what Ingram will do with opportunity but he is going to get it.

Ivory is going to get a shot to. Just personally not as high on him. Ya Jefs wanna run to but ivory is far from 1st round pick. Plus IMO Goodson is more of a threat to Ivory workload vs P Thomas to Ingram. Of course it will take the season to prove this theory :)

I'll go Ingram, despite what we have seen and popular opinion, I think Ingram is both more talented and in a better situation.
