Right or wrong my opinion. Just like wild cat, run & shoot and Mike Martz offense. NFL will catch up to the fad. Read option won't be as successful this year.[/quote]
This is my thinking too. I would take Wilson as I see him as doing better in a more standard offense if he was asked to run one.
Kaepernick or Wilson
Re: Kaepernick or Wilson
I prefer Wilson but if your not in a hurry to move either. Just hang on to them both as I see both their values rising over the next season or two. You can cash in then or if I were to trade either now you need to get value for their future potential.
Re: Kaepernick or Wilson
Let's face it, both of these guys did a tremendous job last year but I believe Kaep is the better player over the long haul. I think most people are enamored with Wilson because everyone loves the underdog. I don't mean to "belittle" Wilson because he seems to be a stand-up guy, a leader on his team as well as a talented all around QB but all else being equal 6'4" 230# beats 5'11" 206# every time and twice on Sunday.

Wow!! That's a crazy offer to decline. Can't believe you turned that one down. QBs are a dime a dozen nowadays... You better rethink that one!The1Rat wrote:I own both in 1 QB league, been getting stupid offers like Forte straight up for Kaep, I mean seriously. Re: Kaepernick or Wilson
i just got done drafting both in a startup. through the first few rds, i didnt see myself as a conteder and took another qb. i honestly think we are looking at brees rodgers type numbers out of these two guys. cant wait to see who i will be able to land when the eli owner gets tired of having a nice team but no elite qb to throw out there. say what you want about alot of solid fantasy qb options.....it still pays to have one of the top guys and with kaep and wilson, i think these guys are destined for top 5 numbers for years to come.
i do prefer wilson, i have them ranked arod, wilson, kaep, luck, cam as tier 1 for the future.

Re: Kaepernick or Wilson
This league is Salary Cap/Auction with 2. ppr,6 pt passing TD, QB's and WR's have great value, and RB's are highly devalued in that format. Besides, I already have AD and Shady at good salaries, and typically only start 1 RB. I would move one of Kaep or Wilson for a WR1. I also have Kaep at $9 and Wilson at $4 for the next 5 yrs if I want, which is incredibly cheap for a QB1.DonBrazi wrote:Wow!! That's a crazy offer to decline. Can't believe you turned that one down.
