LaMichael James vs. Isaiah Pead

Postby mmjmelia » Sat Feb 16, 2013 8:08 am

I know James has shown he can play at this level but will he ever be more than a change of pace back? Will Pead become the lead back in STL? Which holds more value and who has more upside?

James is available in my rookie/FA draft and trying decide if/where to draft him and who I could be dropping for him.

Thanks!

If you can't drop a Kicker, then I'd try to trade one of your backup TEs.

I'm working on trading Daniels right now but not a lot of takers. I have offered him for a 2014 2nd but I'd probably take a third at this point. I just finished year one of a rebuild so I don't see him as a piece I want to be holding onto. I'm already dropping the kicker and other players as well. We cut down to 15 before a 5 round rookie/FA draft.

i would go with pead. he didnt show much last year but he has the best shot at getting significant playing time. james will be limited to a no 3 3rd down type.

If SJax goes away and Rams don't draft a RB in the first 4-5 rounds, then I like Pead to show up this year.

I will have to make this decision on Boom Roasted in sig, where I have to drop 3-- at the moment i'm planning to drop Quick, James and Helu... keeping Pead over all of those.

I think he has a chance to start, Lamichaels path to starting is much more cloudy imo.
