Harvin vs Thomas

Postby dynastyninja » Thu Nov 29, 2012 11:26 am

Who would you rather short-term and long-term? Percy Harvin or Demaryius Thomas?

I feel like Harvin is more QB-proof than Thomas so when Manning retires Thomas will fall off.

Am I right to assume that Harvin is better long-term and Thomas is better short-term?

I have DemT one spot above Harvin in my PPR dyno ranks.

I was slow to come around on Thomas, but I think I have to give him the nod here. He has been a beast.

Splitting hairs here. Might as well take the one who has Peyton Manning at QB.

Thomas will fall off once Manning leaves? Not QB proof? He lit it up with Tebow as QB. Not sure there's more QB proof than Tebow.

I'll take Thomas over Harvin

DemThomas. I'm with Steelman, DemThomas was producing well with Tebow and it doesn't get much worse then getting passes from a QB who's only good enough to be a personal kick protector the next season.

I think they are both great guys to have. They are both equally valuable in the long term. Obviously DThomas is more valuable right now for this years playoffs since Percy has a bad Ankle, but next year I will have them within a few spots of each other in my rankings.

I agree with Rourke and Steelman.. Thomas was putting up Calvin Johnson type numbers w/ Tebow. With that said, in a standard format I think they are close and maybe a slight edge to Thomas.. PPR league I would still rather have Harvin
