I like them both. But I like Gresham better this year but not by much. But when confronted with the option to pick up one of them in a dynasty league where my team won't be competitive for a couple of years, I went Rudolph. Hope that helps.

Vikes are REALLY HIGH on Rudolph so far throughout training camp. He looks amazing, but at the same time Gresham is very athletic as well..

Rudolph will have more opportunity to score and IMO has the batter QB throwing to him.

You think Ponder is better than Dalton? I disagree. Give me Gresham. His rookie year was better than Rudolph and his 2nd year he went to pro bowl yaya I know cause Gronk & Hernandez declined ... what ever he still made it.

I agree with therand50. More so on the side of the vikes having a better running game than the bengals than a better qb.( I consider Dalton and Ponder pretty closely ranked.) I also think Rudolph will produce more due to the vikes being behind alot in a Pass heavy division compared to the bengals in the afc north

I do think Ponder is better than Dalton.

Ponder had an off year as a rookie, with no training camp; Dalton has same excuse, but I think what we saw in the latter half of the season and the playoffs is more indicative of what he will be, a game manager.

Regardless, this debate is about Rudolph and Gresham.

Rudolph will have more redzone targets and will more typically be targeted further down the field. Gresham will get more receptions, but his average points/game should be lower due to the Bengals running in the red zone.

I think Gresham is probably the better option the rest of the way this year. Dalton is playing at a much higher level than Ponder while Gresham hasn't been as reliant on touchdowns.

I would be shocked if the Vikings don't come back down to earth coming out of their bye with four of their next five games being on the road. Of their six remaining games, two are against the Bears, two are against the Packers and one is in Houston. That will not be easy, though that could mean lots of pass attempts and a few extra targets/week for Rudolph.

Rudolph is still my guy long-term and I would take him about 1 round ahead of Gresham in a startup. Rudolph is my #4 dynasty TE while Gresham is at 6. Gresham has clearly passed a few guys like Davis, Pettigrew, Finley, Davis and Celek if we are looking at the DLF TE rankings, at least in my book.

Dumped Finley (gulp, gotta be careful with Chris R. lurking behind me) for Gresham and haven't been disappointed. With Hernandez folded up in a bed most of the season, I have been able to remain competitive while waiting for his return. I appreciate the volume of targets. I haven't watched enough tape on either guy to comment on ability and athleticism.

Gresham seems to be getting better each year...give me Gresham over Rudolph. Did you guys see that almost TD catch he had this past Sunday where the refs ruled him down on the 1 yard line? The guy is strong like bull.
