Leshoure or best or smith
Which RB from Detroit would you rather have? If it wasn't for Leshoure's injury and legal issues this probably wouldn't even be a debate. Conversley if it wasn't for Best's concussion issues it probably wouldn't be a debate either. So who is it? Is Smith even in the debate?

Re: Leshoure or best or smith
I like(d) Mikel the most, but with the injury and legal problems- He does scare me. Best will put up points when he is healthy and on the field, and same with Smith (I wouldn't want to rely on Smith as a starter.. but he's nice depth). I think if you plan on using one of them in your starting lineup on a consistent basis, then you better own one of the others. I wouldn't specifically go after them if the price isn't verrrryyy right.. they better be Bob Barker price is right IMO :2cents:

Re: Leshoure or best or smith
I got Leshoure at 1.12 last year and I am damn determined to see him play a game before he leaves my team. At this rate it doesn't seem that's ever going to happen.

Re: Leshoure or best or smith
Leshoure for me. I really liked him coming out. The injury makes me a little hesitant, but I'd still take him over Best/Smith.
Re: Leshoure or best or smith
Read recently that LeShoure is attempting to be the FIRST RB ever to successfully return from an achilles injury - that kinda scares me off.
Best is a guaranteed good performer until he gets hurt again...I guess that make him a better gamble in my book.

LeShoure, but only because Best and Smith scare me more. I wouldn't want to rely on any of them as a weekly starter.

Re: Leshoure or best or smith
This one is easy for me and that is Best. Even without his issues I just don't think Leshoure is that good of a talent. Best doesn't need a full workload to get it done for your fantasy team. Yes he has injury concerns but all 3 of these RBs have issues. Give me the guy that has the potential to put up the most points in that offense.

Re: Leshoure or best or smith
Personally, given current situations, the order I would prefer the Detroit RBs is...
Best > Smith > Leshoure
As some have mentioned, it's highly unlikely for an RB to attain pre-injury form after an achilles injury.
EDIT: Ugh, just noticed this thread is three weeks old, shouldn't have bumped it.

Re: Leshoure or best or smith
I love getting Kevin Smith for cheap
think about how much people pay for Best or LeShoure....its disproportionate to the amount of attention Smith gets even though his upside is just as high as either Best or LeShoure.
For now I will assume Best>Smith>LeShoure as far as production
but as far as who is the best value wise Smith>>>Best=LeShoure

Just because a thread is a few weeks old doesn't mean you can't add to a discussion. The offseason is always a little quieter, and someone else will probably ask this question again down the line.cleanwillyb wrote:EDIT: Ugh, just noticed this thread is three weeks old, shouldn't have bumped it.

Re: Leshoure or best or smith
The way I see it, I wouldn't want any of them to be a relied on without a decent back up. The only way I'd own any of them is if I knew I had a consistent guy ready to play behind him. In that cause, I'd take the gamble with the higher ceiling, knowing that if he does go down or gets suspended, I have a safety net. Therefore, I see it as:
Best>>Leshoure>>>>Smith

Re: Leshoure or best or smith
Long term I like Leshoure the best, but I target Smith in the later rounds if I can get him. I'm not paying A RB 1 or 2 price for any of them. Most of the 12 round start ups I've been in this year, you can get Leshoure as your 4th or 5th back. I'll buy him as my 5th back.

Re: Leshoure or best or smith
This is 100% my view. I love getting Smith in late late rounds as a flex with potential to start when the other two flame out.standard_variance wrote:I love getting Kevin Smith for cheap

I will not draft the other two; only way I will have them is if someone threw them in on a trade as a bargain chip.
