David vs. McClain

Just released David Lavonte and picked up Rolando McClain. Who do you like better? I understand McClains legal woes but I think he stands to produce better numbers in the long run from the middle linebacker position. What are your thoughts?

I would rather have Lavonte David. There are rumors than McClain could be traded or cut..I don't want anything to do with a player like him. But if you're that kind of owner who takes chances on players, then be my guest. McClain's showed that he can play, but I'd rather be safe.

Ray Lewis had questionable character early in his career and we see how that turned out. Lol. No, I get your point though. I just figured I had the depth to take a flier on him.

R.McClain has been found guilty of multiple charges. He's going to jail for 180 days and will be useless this season. You already made the wrong decision. Try to undo it immediately.

Not looking to use him this year. Feel comfortable with the starters I have. Will Lavonte ever outproduce McClain with all things being equal? He will be back on the field soon enough. The Raiders seem to like him despite his troubles. Looking toward the future.

McClain has been a big disappointment to date, so I would rather have the guy who hasn't already under performed for years. The MLB in the Raiders system should produce much better then R.McClain has.

I wish man. This was from 2012. A huge mistake on my part. Somebody in my league snatched him up as soon as I dropped David. I dont have to tell you the rest.

i did the same thing with geno atkins to pick up chris ivory, fortunately ivory has a change of scenery this season. so maybe this doesnt end up quite as bad for me.
