I tried to get Cooks for 1.02 this year. Sadly, that leaguemate's fever was not nearly as high as the OP's.
Dynasty player since 2002.

Not a big fan of Cooks but what is the best case scenario for whoever you pick at 1.02? 4 straight 1k seasons and perennial back end WR1? That's cooks.

Yup, what’re you honestly hoping that pick turns into? Expecting more than what cooks is is setting yourself up for failure. He’ll exoectung what cooks is is setting yourself up for failure.
