DK Metcalf's monster combine

Dude looks like megatron in indy. I haven't had the luxury of seeing his game tapes. Is he a true stud WR or just a combine monster?

There's no question that his metrics are similar to Calvin but CJ was a monster in college.

Maybe Metcalf is closer to Julio overall. Dunno, he still feels risky to me, I've also wanted to draft Harry since last year...so I may be letting my homerism cloud my judgment lol.

Kevin White was 2 years older at the combine, at that matters. Josh Gordon has always been my comp for him based on college production, size, speed and skill set.

If DK lands in Bmore or WAS, he is 1.06 at best.

Kevin White was 2 years older at the combine, at that matters. Josh Gordon has always been my comp for him based on college production, size, speed and skill set.
White was also a lot more productive in college. No comp is perfect. The point is that DK has tremendous upside, but he's very risky. That upside comes with a very low floor.

Am I the only one a little concerned by his 3-cone and his shuttle results?
To say they were bad is an understatement.

Guy can only run in a straight line.

You are definitely not alone. I’m very weary of his agility and more importantly his ability to run routes.

Agreed. I thought it was a fluke when I saw the results late. This is something to seriously look for. If the guy can only run straight.... 😞

I wouldn't touch him with a top 3 pick. Very little college production, injury concerns, way too big to be agile (Tom Brady scored higher in combine agility drills) and no route running skills. I wouldn't touch him in the top 6 actually.

His 3 cone was really bad, definitely concerning for those looking to draft him at the 1.01. Not sure if it is just me, but I wonder if he is almost too big bulk wise?
