Melvin Gordon vs Nick Chubb

Postby ajf235 » Wed Jan 30, 2019 7:26 pm

What’s the gap between Chubb and Gordon in keeper/dynasty leagues at the moment? Is there even a gap in half ppr anymore? Yeah Gordon has the edge as a receiver for sure but does Chubb’s superior rushing ability, lesser injury history in the NFL, not fully tapped receiving potential and the fact that he’s 3 years younger fully close the gap?

In full PPR, it's still Gordon slightly for me. I only think he produces Chubb in the short term though and age is definitely advantage, Chubb.

Half ppr just give me Chubb now. Get younger and similar production moving forward

These 2 are pretty close. I think Chubb starts catching a lot more passes next year like he did down the stretch which should bump up his value. Before the injury to Gordon, he was elite. Total toss up here for me. I would keep whichever I had vs trying to acquire the other. I think Gordon would come slightly cheaper in a deal then Chubb.

unless Hunt signs a longterm deal with the Browns this didnt lower my dynasty value of Chubb, it concerns me where i have shares of Chubb on title contending teams tho as Hunt could come back sometime towards end of season and make my Rb1 seem like less of a sure thing late season/going into playoffs.
