Trading Phillip Lindsay

Postby ebrog » Wed Dec 26, 2018 9:39 pm

I'm thinking about trying to trade Lindsay for either Corey Davis or Courtland Sutton. I know Lindsay has looked great, but I'm scarred he's not gonna be able to hold up or just fade away as fast as he appeared. I got him for nothing & think I should sell high while I still can. I know the Davis owner is ready to trade now, still waiting to hear back from the Sutton owner. Thoughts?

I'd do either and I'm not super high on either, but both have flashed at WR, and I think Lindsay is a sell high candidate. Sub 200 lB undrafted RB. I'd gladly cash out for those guys. 6 weeks in if those guys are not lighting it up, they'll be worth more than Lindsay if he's struggling or losing touches.

Yeah I'd do that trade and would prefer Corey Davis. Another thing to think about is there will be a coaching change in Denver, that could mean they either don't believe in Lindsay and prefer Freeman or prefer to do more of a timeshare. Sell high because I don't he is an RB1 in 2019

I would make the trade for either. I have Davis higher than Sutton.

It's done, I went with Davis. This is my 2nd trade this year, I picked up Golladay for Trubisky early in the season. I'm thinking about trying to get Rashad Penny for my 2019 1.8 pick.

Not a bad move but I would wait and see how the predraft process shakes up first. The 1.08 is unlikley to lose any value in the time frame and you may end up liking some of the RB's or WR's that will potentially fall in that range.

Not a bad move. I had the same concern about him. I ended up trading Lindsay and Ebron for Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams. I have not lost any sleep.

Lindsay small but got it done...

just curious if the owners citing size are the ones that put Cohen ahead of Jordan Howard...

i don't see how Denver can ignore Lindsay....maybe more like a Cohen role next season...but i think he has a role going forward

I traded Lindsay and Antonio Brown for Beckham and a 2020 1st. I feel Lindsay will give carries to Freeman next season, just a hunch.

I would trade for either player. I personally would try to cash in on the season Lindsay had and the lack of a big year either WR had and go after both if they are owned by the same person. You may have to throw in another piece, but it could be well worth it.
