Not sure I agree with the 2nd part. Chubb has ripped off some long runs this year, including a 90 plus yarder. I prefer Chubb based on talent and character, but receiving wise, Mixon has the edge.
Chubb no doubt has some nice burst but those were vs Oakland.

I don't see a tremendous disparity in talent here. Chubb is younger, in a better situation and doesn't have a character issues in his past. I'd lean Chubb

Actually Mixon is a few months younger, but I'd still go Chubb.

Character concern knocks Mixon for me, as does coaching and general offensive flow of his team. I also prefer non-ppr so it’s Chubb for me in those leagues with little more thought. In ppr it’s definitely close but I still go Chubb because I believe the Browns offense will continue to improve. More TD opportunities than Mixon, more positive game script (in non-ppr) than Mixon.

I also have them back to back. Chubb seems to have a much better feel for running between the tackles. Mixon looked improved there, but still kinda raw. Mixon is the better pass catcher though, so his path to a monster season is clearer.
I'm going to chicken out and say Mixon in PPR and Chubb in standard.

I like Chubb a lot more because I think he's just a much better player.

The Bengals have been able to change out Mixon for Bernard any time Mixon missed time and you could hardly tell a difference, with production and efficiency remaining similar.

But the good he difference in Cleveland having Chubb in there instead of Hyde has been massive.

I think Raw talent Mixon is better but Chubb is very close behind in a much better situation.
Situations change and I can see Mixon putting up Gurley lite numbers with a better oline/oc whilst I can't see Chubb doing the same unless he gets more involved in the passing game.
I own both and would take Chubb if I was looking for a safe bet and Mixon if I wanted to shoot for the stars.

Well said. I think Chubb’s ceiling is prime Frank Gore or Jamal Lewis where he maxes out 400-500 yards receiving as his ceiling but generally has 10-15 TDs and 1200-1300 rush yards every season.

Mixon has 800 receiving yard upside for sure but given his offense and physical makeup, it looks like he’ll generally get fewer TDs than Chubb most years. But as you said, situations change.

I think Chubb’s situation is looking very bright for as long as Mayfield is there though (which should be his entire career).

I think that has more to do with Bernard being way better than Hyde. Bernard doesn't get enough respect IMO.
