In terms of dynasty value or actual production, this is giving me a derrick henry vibe already

Nick Chubbs vision is far superior to Henry's, the main thing holding him back is that massive knee injury and if he ever gets back his full explosion. Derrick Henry was always just about his size/speed combo.

Yeah, Chubb is just better than Henry. I don't understand the reference. Chubb is a natural and instinctive football player, and Henry is not, IMO. I don't think Chubb ever gets back to his pre knee injury form, which is a shame, he could have been truly special, but he can still be a top end RB in this league, because he was such a freak athlete, he is still way above average athletically, it just seems like he lost his burst and acellertation when changing direction slightly since the injury. Still a top end back if he gets any sort of passing game reps in that offense. Lots to be looking forward to in Cleveland. I expect Hue to be fired and perhaps Haley to be promoted.

I think he just means that he could see a similar scenario. Where many people were hyping up and expecting Henry to eventually take over as the bellcow/workhorse RB at some point (and it was certainly very reasonable to assume), but for whatever reason it just never happened. It's certainly possible for something similar to happen to Chubb even though we're all ready to crown him as the Browns RB of the future.

Now whether he means that because of talent or situation, I don't know, but I'm with you guys on Chubb > Henry.

Chubb easily could be, it will just depend on how much the Browns use him and how well his knee truly recovers. Even after the injury, Chubb posted one of the highest SPARQ scores in the class, and going back to his college days, people were saying he was as good if not better than the guy he replaced, Todd Gurley. The physical tools are there, it will just be a matter of how he develops further.

in terms of production. Chubb should be a high end RB2 next year with ceiling of top-10.

I dont think you were wrong in your assessment of his previous situation. And I dont think you're too far off with top 12. Will be fun to watch the CLE offense... wait what

Haha I traded Mahomes for Goff and Chubb yesterday. Couldn't have possibly been luckier.

Except the Browns just traded their FA so Chubb could be the full time starter as a rookie, Henry dealt with Demarco Murray and then the front office didn't feel confident enough in him to not bring in Dion Lewis. Chubb is a more prototypical runningback. Henry is a huge freak athlete but he's actually not that ideal for a runningback. He lacks elite burst and its pretty obvious that it takes him time to get to max speed. Once he does he's a beast but how often do RB's get a huge running head start? Not often.
