I just have a hard time buying that even a rebuild should prefer to have a guy who we think might produce by the end of next season over a guy who is currently producing at a WR1 level (it'd be one thing if he was 30, but he's only 26). I'm kind of shocked by the results of this poll, honestly. Woods has done nothing but produce since I posted it and it's trended towards Sutton in that time after initially favoring Woods...which makes no sense. It's getting harder to dismiss his production as a fluke.Gtdano_14 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 15, 2018 4:58 amIt depends on your mindset. I'm rebuilding which makes it easily Sutton. Contenders would prefer Woods.
But I agree, if Sutton keeps progressing and the Rams keep all 3 WRs, most would lean Sutton at some point during 2019. (assuming at least one of Eman and DT are gone to pave the way for increased production opportunities)
I think Woods should be considered a 4th round startup pick minimum, which seems like a hefty price to pay for Sutton to me.
