Cameron Meredith vs Tyrell Williams

Both players are comp’d to each other on player profiler. Similar across the board. Who would you take over the other?

I want to see where Meredith's health stands. To me, Tyrell is a deep threat, and as Rivers ages and his arm loses a bit, I see more plays closer to the LOS. Meredith I'm thinking might get a shot if he can be healthy, but Tre'Quan was drafted, and they are both similar type players. Not sure, but I'd go Tyrell until I know Meredith is healthy.

I'm leaning Tyrell, I'm not sure how much opportunity he'll have with the chargers going forward but he will be a UFA next off season and could land in a solid spot.

Does the news of Meredith most likely being the #2 change anything?

Prefer Meredith before than news broke. If healthy, that was always a realistic role for him. I like him as a player more as well. Tyrell feels stiff and straight-line. He’s athletic, but Meredith (was) a more fluid WR for my dollar. Both have solid situations with short term QBs.
