Re: Hines or Ballage?
Took Hines in my 2 rookie drafts ahead of Ballage.
Re: Hines or Ballage?
Ballage has the higher upside but Hines has the higher floor. Personally I can't see Ballage "breaking out" in the NFL when he couldn't even win the main job in college, Hines has the Duke johnson/Tarik Cohen ppr upside and those type of RB's are gold in competitive leagues that give you solid 12 ppr points a game.

Re: Hines or Ballage?
Ballage has gone higher in drafts I've been in. His size/speed combo gives him the higher upside, although I don't think either are great prospects. Both are better athletes than running backs.

Re: Hines or Ballage?
They both have the same floor, and that is that they are totally useless. Hines may be a little less likely to hit that floor, but Dri Archer is certainly his floor.Titans95 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 04, 2018 6:26 pm Ballage has the higher upside but Hines has the higher floor. I agree that Ballage not taking the job at ASU is a concern, but some coaches out there put awkward value in intangible things and irrationally hold guys back for things like not always liking up right in practice, etc. It's not totally unprecedented for that to happen and a guy who couldn't even win the job in college to be a good pro. Think Fast Willie Parker or CJ Anderson or, heck, Alvin Kamara.

Re: Hines or Ballage?
Thats fair, I guess any rookies floor is being a non factor within a year...I guess I meant to say the more likely to not bust is Hines. The difference with guys like Kamara who didn't get the job were absolute studs when they were on the field, Ballage struggled mightily at times when given opportunity. Honestly not thrilled about either but at least Hines is on the Colts and if Luck is back could hold some value as a solid ppr guy even if he doesn't "breakout", the dolphins look like they can't get their heads on straight so I could easily see ballage as last years Perine type of thing. (I know they are different play styles)Vcize wrote: ↑Mon Jun 04, 2018 11:53 pmThey both have the same floor, and that is that they are totally useless. Re: Hines or Ballage?
I went Hines, but two picks behind Ballage. I would've went Hines regardless as it's all about the PPR and immediate contribution for me. Ballage won't produce this year with Drake and Gore in front of him. You'll be able to pick him up cheaper during the season.

Re: Hines or Ballage?
ballage is one of my biggest sleeper picks in this draft and think this time next year ppl are mad at themselves for taking the likes of ronald jones, hines, and alot of other rookie rb's ahead of him

Re: Hines or Ballage?
I think Hines comes in and is a worthy flex play from day one. Ballage has the higher upside as he could handle a full workload. With that said, I am going Hines over him everywhere I can
