D'Onta Forman

Postby Duke Nuk’em » Sun Jun 03, 2018 7:27 am

I was really excited to have him last year. I loved the potential and thought he was going to push Miller aside. I've received a couple low ball offters (IMO) for him recently. What's his value?

Would you trade him 1-for-1 for any of these WRs?
Calvin Ridley
Cooper Kupp
Dante Pettis

Absolutly, likely any of them other then Pettis .

Ridley was a late 1st, Sutton an early 2nd. Jones and kupp are worth that. Only Pettis who was going closer to a 3rd would I pass on. So in terms of value, I'd take a mid 2nd for foreman.

Calvin Ridley - Definitely
Cooper Kupp - if I needed WR depth, absolutely
Dante Pettis - maybe, if I had good RB depth
Courtland Sutton - Depends on team need, probably
Golden Tate - Heck yes.

This. Achilles injuries for RB's are not good, and even before that I would probably do it.

I still like Foreman quite a bit, but I'd move him for all those guys but Pettis.

I'd move him for everyone other than pettis and even Pettis I'd consider if I wasn't desperate for another RB. I can't believe someone offered Tate for Foreman? Dude is consistent as they get and has at least a 2 years potentially 4 more years of top 15 production.

OP never said he was offered any of those guys for foreman, just that he had rec'd some low ball offers, and may have been trying to figure out counter offers. If I was looking to add foreman with any of the wr's mentioned (other then pettis) id be looking for change back with the deal.

I'd move him for every player on that list easily. Willing to be wrong down the line, but that's how little faith i have in him coming back and being relevant

Now that is an interesting debate. Its hard because Foreman has a less path of resistance this year than Williams but everything could change if the Texans draft a RB or sign one in the off season next year....I'd probably lean Williams.

Yea I’ve been offered that in a deal and I’m torn. Williams has the young competition with Aaron Jones and Ty Montgomery. Foreman has the aging vets. Both flashed last year when they got their opportunity.

I have right now ingram, Henry and drake in my backfield. We have flex lineups so I can start anywhere from 1-3 RBs. More times than not I’ll only start 1 RB due to my depth at WR.
