I think Michel is a better player and is in a better offense.

I;m worried Penny first contact will be 1 yard behind LOS every time on that Seattle team.

Michel.

I think Bill drafted him to take the pressure off TB12. Now they could pound the rock instead of throwing 40-50 times a game.

Both. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing lol.

Seriously though, I look forward to seeing Sony get more work this week with Burkhead done. Penny needs to uproot Carson. I think that's going to be a split for a while though. Neither situation is ideal but I think they are good backs

Well to be honest, Michel’s situation is pretty close to ideal but I’m doubting whether he has the talent to maximize it.

Being the last man standing as a between the tackles runner, on a Tom Brady offense, SHOULD be a fantastic situation.

Oh I agree that it SHOULD be. But we have seen this situation before. I get it though, he was drafted high for a reason, the Pats really do need him, great offense to be in. I hope he is the guy, I need him to be lol I'm just skeptical until I see it happen.

I wonder when the last time a Pat's RB got over 20 or 25 carries in a game

Seattle is a bit of a dumpster fire with no immediate relief in sight. Therefore, Michel.
QBs: Patrick Mahomes, Trey Lance, Tua Tagovailoa
RB: Jonathan Taylor, Joe Mixon, Saquon Barkley, JK Dobbins, James Conner, Travis Etienne, Tony Pollard, Brian Robinson.
WR: Ja'Marr Chase, A.J. Brown, Deebo Samuel, Jaylen Waddle, Chris Godwin, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chase Claypool, Chris Olave, Odell Beckham, Josh Palmer
TE: George Kittle, T.J. Hockenson, Taysom Hill, Trey McBride, Isaiah Likely
PK: Nick Folk
(IDPs, start two per week per position):
DL: Danielle Hunter, Myles Garrett, Alex Highsmith, Aidan Hutchinson, Chase Young,
LB: Roquan Smith, C.J. Mosley, Logan Wilson, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoa
DB: Derwin James, Jeremy Chinn, Xavier McKinney, Jalen Pitre

* Ten team league started in 2014.
** 40 player roster, 30 Keepers per season.
*** Red denotes 2022 draft pickups.

agreed.. I thought he might not get the volume most on here were preaching and when he does that team will take awhile to upgrade as it seems Seattle does not want to help out Wilson and protect him at all. ...

I think Sony as well.. what would it take to trade sony for Penny? I been asked for a trade and only thing i see on his team that might be worth is a 2019 mid first, or Gordon with penny would you trade sony for either of those ?

Today!!! He missed all of training camp. Michel is just getting his feet wet. Contrary to popular opinion, the top RB usually does real well in the Patriots offense. They just hadn’t had good RBs until recently.

Exactly. My argument wasnt that the situation was bad or that a Pat's RB cant produce. But there needed to be volume. In this case today, Sony and White got plenty of touches and both produced immensely. Glad I snagged Sony before this game!

Always thought they were wasting time with Burkhead too. Guy seemed like a fullback. Reminded me of Kyle Jsuzczyk

Happy to see him get the rushing volume but he was a dynamic receiver in college as well, hopefully they try to get him the ball in space in the receiving game as well moving forward.

The answer should have been Michel back in May and is still the answer today.
