John Ross value

Postby Krissi24 » Thu May 17, 2018 1:46 pm

How do you see his value? I think that he is in for a break out year. Thinking about 1000Y and 5-8 TDs
Would it be wise to trade someone like Ridley for Ross??

As an owner in a couple leagues, I'd let him go for pick 16 or higher. His value is probably a little lower than that, but since I paid for him I don't see the point in letting him go for a pick in the 20+ range.
You should be able to get something back if you give up Ridley for him.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Nope keep ridley, i've seen people trade Ross for a late second, don't give up more than a mid second for him. I've scooped him up where I can because of how cheap he is, wouldn't give a 1st for him though

Where do we see Ross value now.

Burrow coming in. Obviously health is a major issue but say he plays 16 games (big if) what can he hit?

He's not good at playing football or staying healthy. He is just fast. No thanks

He is worth a mid 3rd for me. If he stays healthy, he may put up a good season, but it's a big if. With Green likely sticking around too, it does not help his outlook.

Ross a gamble. But with Burrow likely upgrading Bengals passing game, coupled with improved health of offensive line, Ross showed can play in college when healthy, but health has been Achilles heel.

Long story short, mid second or later, otherwise no thanks. He's a dart throw for upside. nothing more. would just wait until your rookie/dynasty draft, if you don't see anyone you would pick OVER ross in second round, etc then offer up to league mate who owns him. Gonna be able to get at much steeper discount when rookies on the board and fever at peak.
