Duke Johnson

With Chubb coming to town, what is everyone's thoughts on Duke?

Will he still hold RB2 value?

Yes, Duke should still carry RB2 value.

It's crazy to me you can get Duke for so cheap. I wish I didn't own him in every league I'm in so I could get such good value on him haha I'd take Duke around the 1.07-1.08 range...He's got an extremely solid floor with backend rb1 upside. What are the chances that all these rookie RB's reach that level? Maybe 2-3 of them at most

What???? A huge plus for Duke was him playing in the slot next year. With Landry and Chubb/Hyde there Duke's likely relegated to a 3rd down back. RB1 upside? He wasn't that last year and it was the best opportunity for him to hit his ceiling.

Yeah, I'm not sure what opportunity Duke has this year. Hyde showed good pass-catching skills last year, and Landry does a lot of what Duke did last year but better. I see him as a flex play next year -- not a knock on his talent, but it looks like a crowded offense now.

Duke seems like he is in no man's land this season. Landry is going to take away a lot of the slot receptions he had, and he's probably 3rd in the pecking order of rushers. I don't like him to return RB2 value this year.
That said, he's a great add closer to the season. He will be a 25-year-old URFA next year, and it is a weaker class at RB (as of right now). His skillset is what the NFL seems to look for nowadays, so he could get a McKinnon type situation next offseason.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

he was RB11 or 12 last year? Thats an RB1....and I agree it outlook this year specifically isn't as ideal as last year but I still think he has a top 20 finish this year.

Agree with this completely. I'm scared off of Duke now. Way too many RB's, Gordon and the biggest dent is Landry. You're asking an awful lot of tyrod Taylor and baker Mayfield on a less than prolific offense.
