Mixon vs Dalvin Cook?

Postby Titans95 » Fri Apr 27, 2018 6:19 am

I expect most people on here will say Cook, but is that purely for a safer floor standpoint or do they both have similar ceilings as well? What would be the difference in value between the two?

While I prefer Mixon's talent, I wouldn't move my Cook for Mixon straight up largely due to Cook being on a significantly better team. I understand that situations change, but I don't think Mixon is better enough than Cook to make up for the team difference.

The reason why I ask is I'm thinking about taking a stab at Kamara so I was wondering if I should offer Cook or Mixon along with MT to get Kamara & Davante Adams. thoughts?

With what we know about their situations today, I would rather send Mixon. If CIN continues to draft solid OL guys tho that could change.

Really I think they're close enough that personal preference is fine here. If you like Mixon's haircut more than Cook's, send Cook. Send Mixon If you think Cook wears cooler sneakers.

Mixon for me on talent and health. Love the pick up of Price for the Run O, so even more so today.

I had Mixon slightly ahead of Cook this time last year and not much has changed for me now. Still Mixon, but like both.

I do not understand how Mixon is so highly regarded. He's behind a bad offensive line and was outproduced by Gio. His tape from last season was not impressive. I know Walton isn't a world-beater but I wouldn't be shocked at all if he challenges Mixon for the starting role. Give me Cook all day, send Mixon.

Every time the thought "maybe Marvin Lewis doesn't deserve all the hate he gets" creeps into my mind, I remember this insane rookie hatred.

I would sit tight. Love kamara but hes bound to regress. Mixon and Cook could both very well have better seasons than kamara. If it were me, id like to know exactly what i have in both of them before trading one away

He was working behind Hill the first few weeks. I think he moved past him before Hill got hurt, but I could be mixing up order of events.

Hill and Gio both had pretty good rookie seasons. So maybe RBs are exempt from the 1-year rule for Marv?
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...
