Best Landing Spot for OBJ If He Is Traded?

Postby Titans95 » Wed Mar 28, 2018 11:54 am

The rumor mill is spinning out of control with OBJ, what are some teams you think is realistic for him to land and what teams would be the most ideal for fantasy purposes for OBJ? Of course the Giants probably won't trade him but lets all just assume they do.

A lot of people are talking about the Rams as a strong suitor for him and the way they are attacking free agency I could see him going there but for some reason I don't see OBJ thriving there for fantasy. One team that I haven't seen a lot of people mention so far that I would personally love to see him go to is the Colts. They have plenty of Cap space and tons of picks they just received from the jets. With Andrew Luck healthy slinging it to OBJ and Hilton the colts would have to have the best passing offense in the NFL.

It's modern day media, everything is out of control. OBJ is a transcendent talent, he's basically QB proof. I'd say anywhere that has a decent QB, and a bad defense. So, not the Rams.

Lol “...so not the Rams”...I like it...and agree. I could see it now...disgruntled..., complaining that he doesn’t get the ball...

Haha my point exactly. Obviously Sammy should never be spoken in the same breath as OBJ but it was slightly concerning to see the #1 receiver see so few targets, I know part of that was SAmmy's fault but I also think it was a product of the system he was in. I want OBJ going to a team that makes it a point to target him at least 10-12 times a game.

I mean, he'd get the ball, but with him and Gurley and that D, I think his fist half stat line would have to carry him, because they could be up by quite a bit in most 2nd halves of games.

49ers would be interesting to see, for the same reasons people wanted ARob to go there.
