In a vacuum Who do you have? Julio or Amari Cooper

Really simple.....dynasty football, 2018 off-season...who do you value more?
Too many teams and lineup changes to keep track of them all.

Here we go with the age thing again. I have had Jones over Cooper all along, and I don't see that changing at all over the next three seasons.

This is silliness to me. One is a bona fide stud and a difference maker who has averaged 108 catches/1624 yards and 7 td's over the last 3. The other is at 78/1112/6, good, but not great. They average over 80 ppr points different a year. Julio isn't 30 yet and not dead. PS, it has been 10 years since Gruden coached, why is everybody so convinced he will be effective?

Not that silly. Julio posted those numbers over who is considered the prime of a WR's career. A prime Amari has not reached yet. Coopers numbers you mentioned were on about 130 targets per year, which should increase now. Regardless of Gruden's effectiveness, more targets to Cooper are going to mean more production. Cooper is 23, Julio 29. Cooper's best years are ahead of him, Julio's are behind him.

I don't necessarily disagree with anything you mention, but Cooper will NEVER be the receiver Julio is/was. This forum tends to value youth more heavily than I think is appropriate. Julio will be better for the next 3 years, all I care about

thanks all for the comments. This was all sparked based on a recent startup I am involved with. Cooper went before Julio by a few picks....didn't seem to jive with what i thought...My assumption was that you couldn't trade cooper for julio straight up.

I honestly think 2018 will be the last year Julio outscores Cooper. So going off that I'd have to go with Cooper (last yr I would have said Julio because I'd take 2 yrs of Julio over Cooper) in no way do I think Cooper is better than Julio, only that Id take the youth who I believe will be out scoring Julio in just 1 yr.

I think for 2018 the answer is Julio. But I also think in a year we will be saying Cooper for 2019. It scares me to think Julio is on the Calvin Johnson career (injury) path.

In a vacuum, would Cooper still drop as many passes?

Give me Julio for sure

Julio... is still a late first round start up pick IMO, in 5 years you could say cooper was always a nice talent but never came trough... hate the age argument: every single year again and again because the stats still arent there :D
