David Njoku Vs. George Kittle

Postby FantasyFreakGuru » Tue Feb 20, 2018 1:25 pm

Who would you rather own and why?

I think both have chances to be the next Gronk & Kelce.

The far superior prospect coming out of college.

Far superior draft capital from his own team (it's not the be-all-end-all, but anyone who says draft capital is meaningless after a player has started producing is ignorant)

Lastly, I simply view Njoku as having the higher ceiling IF he hits. One could argue Kittle is safer because we've seen him produce more, but if you told me one of the 2 will be giving 75-900-10 seasons, I'd bet it would be Njoku.

Kittle looks good, but Njoku (as a prospect) looks supreme. Who knows if he'll put it together, but if he does his ceiling is an elite TE.

12-team SF, PPR, TE premium, 0.25 PPCarry
1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1SF 4Flex
QB: Mahomes, Fields, Love
RB: Bijan, ETN, Pollard, Achane, Herbert
WR: Kupp, Hill, Metcalf, Ridley, Jeudy, D.J. M, Burks, Hollywood, Wan'Dale
TE: Kyle Pitts, Goedert

Kittles only appeal over Njoku is his qb and head coach/system... You gotta decide whether or not you think the more talented player will be successful within the Browns organization and/or if this is finally the season the Browns turn the corner... That being said, I have Njoku rostered in 2/3 leagues
Team A:

Mariota, Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Hill
Saquon, McCaffery, Hunt, Kerryon Johnson, Drake
C. Davis, W. Fuller, Funchess, Sutton, M. Williams, R. Anderson, D. Pettis, DJ Chark, J. Washington, J'Mon Moore, Jaron Brown

Team B:
12 team, 1qb, ppr, yr. 2
Big Ben, Prescott, T. Taylor, Mayfield
Kamara, Howard, Ajayi, C. Clement, Drake, Royce Freeman, McGuire
M. Thomas, Landry, Fitz, C. Davis, J. Washington, M. Wallace, Bourne
Ertz, Seals-Jones
Jake Elliot
T.j. Watt, Keanu Neal
2018 Picks: 1.06, 2.06, 2.08, 3.06, 3.09, 3.10

Team C:
12 team, SF, .5ppc, ppr, TE prem., Startup

I would say their talent level is very similar. However I acquired both in my auction draft so I guess I cant really go wrong. I got kittle for $42.00 and over paid for Njoku $115. ($1500 start up cash) 1.5ppr for TEs. I'll post my team once we finish the auction!

2 things, I've never understood the athleticism claim for njoku, he's talented not a +++ athleticism. Maybe +athleticism.
But talent isn't athleticism and njoku is far more talented than kittle.
If I had to gamble it would be on the guy that NFL teams thought should be drafted 4 rnds higher.

I don't think you even compared their athleticism.... And the rounds they were drafted in has no meaning on how they produce in the NFL LOL....... I give you credit on the age factor tho.

Yes I'm aware of what Draft Capital does. Provides Opportunity. However the Draft Capital is out of play since neither is a rookie, and Kittle is projected to Break out. Either way , I have both of my squad. I have my cake and eat it too!

They both have established roles so draft capital is deflated.
