I think Miami could be a nice landing spot for Ebron with Landry gone, and I believe they are in the market for a TE.

2. Jason Witten (252)
3. Rob Gronkowski (226)
4. Kellen Winslow (202)
5. Eric Ebron (186)
That barely tells the story of the bust that is Ebron. He was the 10th pick. Of the 5 listed only 3--Gonzalez, Winslow, and Ebron--were drafted in the 1st round. Ebron has 2070 yards and 11 TD after 4 years, that's atrocious. Compare that to Gonzalez and Winslow:
Gonzalez had 3041 and 24 TD
Winslow had 2459 and 11 TD and he missed 14 games in his rookie year!
Don't get me wrong, he has been a big disappointment. Being drafted in the first 10 picks was terrible for him, because people expected Ebron to produce right away. But, tight ends always take a while to develop, as they essentially have to learn two positions: tackle and receiver.

Simply put, 24 year olds that have produced at this level should not be given up on.

Lions couldn't trade him and now there are no reports of teams inquiring about him. What a bum.

I don't see why the Patriots would have a need for a pass catching TE. They should block Ebron's number, the only block credited to him all year.

Indy it is. I'm assuming he bumps Doyle out considering the Colts gave him 2 years/$15mil

I think this assumption is off.
They gave Doyle a similar contract last year. The new coaching staff and offense comes from Philly and uses a lot of two TE sets. Doyle will be the in-line guy who works the middle of the field and redzone while Ebron comes in for two TE sets and splits out. Think Trey Burton's role last year... at best.
