Guice... Is he great?

I've been watching a fair few games this year and have started going over some game highlights (not the best but I'm bored) and I just don't see the love for Guice. Am I the only one and missing something great in his game. I remember watching gurley highlights and thinking damn this guy can get it done, same with Barkley and Mixon, but guice and also Ronald just did nothing for me on tape.

Let me know what I'm missing in his game that makes him worth more than Chubb or even Sony, who I thought looked superior.

I own 1.02 and am torn between Guice or Chubb (I like Chubb A LOT). Sony Michel I think could also be solid at the next level. Right now from what I am reading, Guice or Sutton are going 1.02, and Chubb is going 1.04-1.07, so it may come down to landing spot.

If Guice lands on a team like Green Bay, or Buffalo, he may be a solid pick (above applies to Chubb as well).

Guice's lateral quickness and agility, vision, and power are excellent

And let's not forget he ran a 4.32 at LSU's elite camp back in 2014. He can also squat 650 lbs. He's a monster.

for Guice its all about opportunity IMO... If he lands on a high scoring team, he definitely can bang the football upfield - esp. TD upside... but I agree, in last years draft he wouldn't be 1.02... mixon f.e. is ahead of guice (not close for me)

For me personally its Guice>Chubb and by a pretty good amount.

I like Guice over Chubb by a good margin too. Guice has vision, power, and according to reports he's running 4.3 40's at 220 lbs. He was hurt for most of last year so I think people may be forgetting what he was like when he wasn't injured.

If he does that, I would imagine he'll be breaking records. Has anyone over 220 run sub-4.40? I'm not being snarky btw, I'm legit curious. Bo Jackson would qualify, albeit hand-timed, but I'm sure he was 4.2-4.3 even if laser.

Knile Davis (227 lbs), Keith Marshall (219lbs) ran in the 4.3xs. 217lb AP ran 4.40

Haha Keith Marshall... what a fun time watching people take him in the mid 2nd round and letting the Hunter Henry's of the world drop to me

A bit of an update on the cited 40 time, the 4.3 40 was from LSU camp back in 2014. However, Matt Miller cited Guice running 4.4's at 220lbs during his combine training recently.

I really like Guice but I think behind Barkley, we aren't sure who will be #2, #3, #4 RBs in this draft. I think Michel and Jones can both run just as fast as Guice and have shown more ability in the passing game than Guice. I think Guice can develop a passing game but we currently have very little to go off of which will drive people insane.

Gonna break the combine, perhaps end up dead even with Saquon.

Guice is growing on me, I have him at 1.02 tied with Sony (although Sony's fumbles are a worry). I think Jones and Chubb are ok but I'm not sold on the over all talent this year. Certainly weaker than 2017 class even ignoring the hunts and kamaras. If. Not in the top 2 I'm looking to trade my pick this year

Interesting discussion. Not surprised to see split responses, with a lot of you starting to put guys like Chubb and Michel in the same discussion as Guice, when a year ago he was as hyped as Barkley. I'm curious too because I have the 1.01, 1.02, and 1.03 this year (rebuild time), and I'm considering what to do with my picks after taking Barkley. What I gather from reading through the posts here is there's enough of a question mark out there to consider trading the 1.02 for a significant return if someone is willing to pay up, because there is also a large enough portion of the community who put Guice near or on the same page as Barkley. I'm considering selling my 1.02 and 1.11 this year to the guy who owns 1.04, 1.06, and 1.07 - for all three of his picks if I can get him interested.

His 2016 tape is much better. He played hurt all year, until the bowl game, where apparently he was healthy. Then he ran for almost 300 yards
