RGIII vs Kaepernick: Who is more stash-worthy?

This is the spot for player-to-player comparisons.

RGIII vs Kaepernick: Who is more stash-worthy?

Postby meineymoe » Sat Dec 16, 2017 8:24 am

We have deep rosters in a 16 team league - so always on the lookout for a QB who might emerge from the ashes.

Do either of these guys have a possibility of landing a gig in 2018?

Both are young yet, have had some successes.... I know RGIII's injury past concerns me a bit more - and hopefully he's matured a bit.

No need to get into the Kaep off-field situation, but I think he could still be a serviceable NFL starter.

If you had to choose one to stash this offseason, which one would it be?

I wouldn’t own kaep For any reason and some owners have this mindset .. so I go RG 3

Kaep is the better talent and would produce more if given the opportunity, but at this point, I doubt either ever get a job again.

They are jobless for different reasons. One is just really bad at this point, the other is being blackballed whether you believe it or not.

Kaepernick isn't being blackballed, he doesn't want a job.
RGIII sucks.

I wouldn't roster either of them.

RgIII is not good at football and kaep is nothing special either but I believe if either was Gona get a job they would have had one this year. I wouldn't own either

Honestly neither, rg3 is always injured and isn't very good. Kaep is equally average despite people trying to make him a martyr and bestow upon him talent he never really had. Both rely too much on their legs and you would be better off using that spot on someone else. If I had too I'd go rg3 because I don't think any team will take kaep with the PR hit that comes with it

I'm not going to be as dismissive as some are with Kaepernick. He's out of football by his own choosing and he controls his own future as to whether or not he will end up back in the league. He's not a prototypical QB and the 49ers tried to make him one by reducing his reliance on the run. That ruined him (same thing happened with RGIII in Washington though he was far too brittle that is was more necessary). Of the two Kaep's the more likely to end up back in the league. IMO, he'd also be wise to move to WR or TE.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
