With the Chiefs struggling, when do you all think he gets his shot?

Where do you think he ranks in this years rookie QB class?

If they put him in, they are officially looking to 2018. Highly unlikely he's gonna be better than Smith this year.

Although of course, there's always the possibility he comes in and wows the world for a few weeks, like the last time Smith got replaced mid-season...

I'd like to see him before the end of the season. Highly doubt that happens with them still in playoff contention

I agree that we most likely won’t see him u less they absolutely bottom out next week vs the Jets I think. All that chatter about keeping Smith next year possibly is done now though.

I highly doubt they put him in at all this year, unless it's week 17 and the Chiefs already clinched a playoff spot and a win or loss wouldn't affect standings or home field. With that said, the rookie QBs this year, outside of a small sample size from Watson, has looked very poor. I'd probably rank him 3rd behind Watson and Trubisky for now.

I have a feeling he will be better than Trubisky. Watson probably being the only future top 10 QB from this class. Kizer got a bad deal, but such is life in CLE.
