Who ya got? The 6'4" 4th round pick who has been impressive in limited snaps and has big-play potential, or the 2nd round pick who has just been promoted after the Kelvin Benjamin trade?
I've been following Mack and think he's been trending upwards, but just got on offer of Samuel for him. What are your thoughts?
Mack Hollins or Curtis Samuel?
Re: Mack Hollins or Curtis Samuel?
I have both... Like Hollins long term mainly because of Wentz. Torrey will most likely be gone opening an opportunity for Mack.
Skill wise I like Samuel for his natural running ability. Should be a B. Cooks like guy but organization is all in on making McCaffrey a star.Plus Cam is wearing down. Shoulder surgery must be bothering him more than he lets on.
Neither is likely to be a #1 WR with 8-10 targets each week.Potential #2 with boom weeks on big play ability.

Honestly I'd prefer Hollins at this point. He's done a nice job earning and ensuring a role in a high-powered offense and also offers prototypical WR1 traits.

Re: Mack Hollins or Curtis Samuel?
I like Hollins. He may never be a WR1, but I think he's definitely at WR2 potential.
If the Eagles keep Jeffery next year, I think Hollins could really benefit with Jeffery taking the attention of the #1 cornerback, as has happened with Agholor this year.
The other attribute I like it that Hollins has not just been running deep routes. A number of his catches have come on routes one would see from the X receiver.

Re: Mack Hollins or Curtis Samuel?
Samuel will probably be the safer player, but Hollins has the higher upside.

He was big play after big play at UNC. Now he's taken his game to the next level, doing a little bit of everything.

Re: Mack Hollins or Curtis Samuel?
Hard to say, CS was injured early on and Rivera is not going to put too many rookies on the field at the same time. CS can be used as RB or WR. Think he is going to be used a lot more going forward (starting next year). I am thinking consistent numbers, most weeks. High floor, low ceiling.
Hollins looks good in limited snaps and catches everything. The offense is better in Philly. That can work both ways, keeping Jeffries can help Hollins, on the other hand...there is a lot a lot of mouths to feed (like NO, Pats, etc...who is going to be the "guy" which week?) in that offense. I am thinking boom (possibly, more often than not) or bust, depending on game.
Prefer consistency but,I would be happy with either one, though.
