1 PPR. Where would you guys rank him compared to the rookies this year, for a startup team?

Personally I would would say behind the top 4 and equal to the likes of Kamara and Hunt.

Even though reporters are speculating he may start the season as their top RB, I feel like that's mostly because of Blounts preseason woes and that he is their current "best option." That being said I don't think the eagles believe he's their best option, otherwise they likely wouldn't have signed Blount or drafted clements.

I think he'll take the lead in a committee for a few weeks, and maybe earn a spot staying there but never as a primary back. I think it will be very similar to the type of situation you've seen Denver go through the last few years between CJ/Hillman and now Booker.

I'm really curious about this myself. I've received several lowball offers on Smallwood over the past few days and am debating whether to sell him for a future 2nd or see if he has a shot at real playing time. I managed to pick him up off waivers about a month ago - so being a able to flip a stash like that is always great.

I wouldn't sell him for anything less than a 2018 2nd, personally. As for where he ranks among rookie backs...

I put him behind the big 4
Behind Kamara, Perrine, Hunt, and Foreman.

After these 8 players is when it starts to get interesting for me as I see Smallwood's current situation as being similar to a guy like Mack. The thing with players like Smallwood is that they are EASILY replaceable on NFL teams. The question isn't whether or not to flip Smallwood, it's when.

I trust the genius in NE and there is a reason why they moved on from Blount. I am an Eagles fan, and I believe Blount will not ground and pound like he did last year and Smallwood will be next up. He will be used as change of pace during the games also imo.

A lot closer to the Jamaal/Joe Williams value than the Hunt/Kamara value.

I have him in a couple leagues, but I would say his value is lower than Hunt/Kamara/Jamaal/Foreman/Perine/Mack, similar to Joe Williams/Conner/Henderson/Carson, Higher than McNichols/Gallman.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

The pats were plenty open to signing him. They had contract talks with him, but just didn't want to pay him what he wanted.

I'm much, much more interested in perine than Smallwood
