Sammy Watkins or Stefon Diggs
If you could choose one of them to have on your roster which would it be?
Re: Sammy Watkins or Stefon Diggs

Re: Sammy Watkins or Stefon Diggs
Watkins all day for me though I am a big Diggs fan. He is one of the best route runners around. If he had a legit QB, he could be top 10.
If Watkins had not been injured so much, this would not even be a discussion. The guys ceiling is so high and we have seen windows of where he can just dominate, such as down the stretch in the second half of 2015. He is also looking recovered with the foot issue - well final healing stages and that same injury took a second surgery for other players too (i.e. Dez). Cannot remember the others but heard a list of them recently and it had several big names in it.
I'll just go Watkins.

Re: Sammy Watkins or Stefon Diggs
This would depend on my team. If I'm picking one to be my WR3 or worse, I'd go with Sammy's upside. However, I think Diggs is the safer player right now.

Re: Sammy Watkins or Stefon Diggs
Honest question, because I don't know: what injuries, other than last year's groin, does Diggs have? I've seen the "injury prone" title assigned to Diggs, just never any expansion on that
Re: Sammy Watkins or Stefon Diggs
Is it a cop out if I say both? I feel like both are currently the cheapest they're ever going to be. If I had to pick 1, it would be Watkins. If he has a healthy year, he'll be in consideration as a top 5 dynasty WR. For what is worth, I recently moved Diggs+1st for Watkins+2nd.

Re: Sammy Watkins or Stefon Diggs
"Stefon Diggs blames his 2016 durability woes on himself.
Slowed by groin, knee and hip issues, Diggs missed three games, and was limited for others. Diggs said he's "taking steps" to avoid a repeat in 2017. Reading between the lines, Diggs clearly believes he wasn't in good enough shape. Proper conditioning is a lesson young NFLers often learn the hard way. The playmaker will begin 2017 in the WR2/3 mix."
Watkins draft position and what he's done on tape will continually push him higher and while he is still very young....how long can owners hold on? That I don't know, as I don't own him.
While Diggs' injuries have been "less severe", their situations have been somewhat paralleled in the fact that they are both dynamic WR but can't stay healthy for 16 games.
