I'd rather have Hunt in KC. More short term and long term upside under Andy Reid. Kamara seems like he'll just be a passing down back.

If you asked me a month or two ago, I would have gone Kamara easily. I think it's much closer now. Might have to wait a little longer on Kamara.

What's the price? I saw Hunt go at 1.7 out of 12 and I got Kamara at 2.1. If they were both there I'd probably take Hunt, but if his price is going to be in the late 1st i'm passing

I was debating this myself a few weeks ago when picking at 1.08 in a PPR league. I went with Kamara, but it was really really close. Hunt went a few picks later. I've since had second thoughts but I'm OK with my decision. Kamara gets to learn from AP whose presence is temporary and Ingram is probably gone soon, so Kamara could end up a being feature back. At the worst, he's a receiving back in Sean Payton's offense. I also based my decision on Kamara's burst score, him going to Alabama as a 4 star recruit out of HS, the higher draft spot, and the Saints moving up to get him.

I don't see a way Kamara gets to be a top dog and Hunt could be the man as early as this year. I haven't looked into Kamara much at all because hes going in same ballpark as hunt, Perine, and foreman and they all have a good shot to be lead backs where Kamara is easily 3rd on his team currently and likely limited to certain downs and situations. even down the road I don't see him taking over as the true 1&2 down back ever

Kamara is the better prospect due to his athletic profile but he was an underachiever in college, which is concerning for some people and not concerning for others. I love how Kareem runs though, great balance through contact. I've gone back and forth between the two since April, they're pretty even imo.

I have those 3 RBs rated real close.......

Perine
Kamara
Hunt

My draft just entered round 2, we don't have to start a RB but of course a good one goes a long way

Kamara 1.12
Perine 1.14
Hunt will go in the next 2/3 picks I'd imagine

I didn't see this earlier, but this was the exact decision I had to go through this morning. I was originally really high on Hunt. After watching videos for an hour of them and reading the normal scouting reports and all of that jazz I settled on Kamara. The way he runs and plays reminds me of the kid that doesn't wear a shirt and gets all sweaty so nobody can grab them. Lining up in camp all over and on a team that is notorious for spreading the ball I'm not as concerned about the touches as I was earlier. I also like the competition he faced more. But I don't know that either would be better than the other.

I don't watch a lot of college football but tried to prep for rookie RB's pre fantasy draft. I was in dyer need of RB's and had 3 picks in the top 13- 1.1, 1.10, 2.1.

Hunt went 1.9 so I went ahead and reached for Foreman at 1.10. I then traded my 2.1 while it was on the block with a few extras for Hunt. They guy I traded with took Kamara.

Here is how I see the 2.
Kamara- great athlete and receiving back but not a true natural running back
Hunt- seems to be a very natural talented true running back that knows how to play the position and also very good as a receiving back

I don't put much value in a team trading up to get a guy, but Saints traded their 2018 2nd plus a pick this year to get Kamara. If you value the team trading up, it should be a wash or in Kamara's favor, right?
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...
