Kenny Britt vs Jamison Crowder

Postby osubuckeyeman » Tue Jun 20, 2017 11:50 am

Performance scoring PPR.

Kenny Britt or Jamison Crowder for the next 2 years. Who would you keep for the next 2 seasons?

Racking my brain on this one. There are a lot of plus and minus factors for both.

I have Crowder here by a landslide. I also had Britt on my team for ~6 years so I want nothing to do with him anymore. And, he plays for the Browns now....
16 Team PPR 1 QB - 2 RB - 2 WR - 1 TE - 1 Flex
QB- R.Wilson, B. Mayfield
RB- D. Cook, Zeke, J. Jacobs, J. McKinnon, A. Collins, I. Smith, B. Hill, R. Armstead, M. Boone
WR- J. Smith-Schuster, T. Boyd, C. Sutton, M. Brown, H. Ruggs, S. Miller
TE- G. Kittle, Enron, C. Herndon
'21 Picks- 1.12

I hear ya.

I'm wondering though if playing for the Browns might not be plus for Britt. Browns will be playing behind quite a bit and there could be an enormous amount of targets in that offense with not a lot of quality pass catchers to share them with. Britt had 1002 yards on 68 receptions and 5 TDs in the Ram's offense with Goff at the helm. Keep also in mind that TP had 1007 yards on 77 receptions and 4 TDs in Cleveland last year in the Browns offense.

I like Crowder a lot in the Redskin offense too which is why this is such a dilemma for me. Crowder had 67 receptions for 847 yards and 7 TDs. I see his numbers going up for sure however by how much? I'm leaning Crowder between these two. I do think it is an interesting pair to debate. Britt could be a very good Cleveland Brown.

Crowder. Cousins has a tonne of confidence with short passes; very little for deep ones. Crowder is perfect for that! 👍🏼

Britt on 1 reason alone - #1 WR and no competition on an improving offense.

Crowder has to compete with Pryor and Reed for balls.
Format: 1/2/3/1/3

QB: Winston, Manning, Goff
RB: Gordon, Powell, Woodhead, DWashington, Turbin, Farrow, Pumphrey
WR: Dez, Alshon, Marshall, Treadwell, Doctson, Richardson, J Gordon
TE: Bennett, Allen, Cook, Fiedorowicz, Witten

Piling on, Crowder easily. Though I do like Britt as a bye week/injury fill in at his cost (wouldn't be shocked if you can get him for a 3rd). Relative to cost/ADP, Britt should outperform Crowder.
