Perine or Hunt

Postby Chris10385 » Sun May 28, 2017 7:33 pm

After LF, CMC, Cook, Mixon, Kamara........ Who would you take next Perine or Hunt? More than likely gonna pick one and not get the other.

I was on the clock and selected Hunt, with Kamara and Perine on the board. As for Kamara, I'm not sure he should just be automatically ahead of Hunt and Perine. Hunt is going to an excellent offense behind a 6th round converted fullback in spencer ware who hasn't shown much in my opinion. Highest ever drafted rb by Andy Reid who is known to use rbs excellently. Perine will also get an excellent opportunity behind Rob Kelley who was a ufa and I think it's close between those two but like the pieces around Hunt better. As for Kamara he will step in as a third down rb but couldn't possibly be in a more crowded backfield that's never really put there rbs to be in a position to be workhorses. He still has to contend with AP, who even if he's sluggish will get touches and Ingram who is young enough and has a long enough track record to not just be disregarded. Kamara might have been aggressively pursued by the saints but situation is huge when considering who breaks out, look at Jordan Howard last year.

I agree with you. But my buddy who is ahead of me in our draft is 98% taking Kamara at the 1.6. I will be staring at Mike Williams, Perine, Hunt, as well as the TE's and everyone else at the 1.7 and 1.8. I can't decide if I should go Perine/Hunt at the 1.7 and 1.8 or Williams and one of them. I will already be taking Davis at the 1.2.

In that debate, end Williams slide, I took Williams at 1.07 in a 2 qb draft and while I'm not as hyped about him as say a Corey Davis he's an excellent prospect who has good speed (the treadwell naysayers are off in my opinion, different kind of player) and a great ability to use his body as a red zone threat. Going 7th overall shows some faith as a gm too, he'll be given every opportunity to succeed. Last note, Clemson WRs seem pretty good at football. I'd go him and Hunt, but basically my team in the sig shows that, maybe others will have another take.

I go Hunt, and especially so in PPR leagues. The Redskins coach is on record defending fat Rob, who is supposedly getting in great shape besides. The amount of draft capital the Chiefs plowed into acquiring Hunt, dealing two picks in order to select him, tells me everything I need to know about what they think of him.

Perine but personally I'm a big fan of Foreman so I'd be looking to trade down.

I also have the 2.2 2.3 2.4 so I very well could grab foreman if he is there.
