Jamaal Williams, Jeremy McNichols, Marlon Mack, Brian Hill? *POLL*

These are all RBs who could be a surprise pick in the 3rd round, or fall to the 7th round, and I won't be too shocked with either scenario. So obviously landing spot, draft pedigree, & their team's depth chart will be a BIG factor. But as of right now, who do you want to take a stab at?

I'm glad someone else said it! Jamaal Williams looks like a REALLY solid, talented, back. Not crazy sexy, but I think he could have a nice little career in the league if a couple things break right for him.

We are looking for 3 down backs in fantasy. That's what I base it on. Williams, I do like but he is a 2 down back IMO. Nichols can catch which pushes him ahead. Hill is a just one of my guys and 2015 shows he can catch, block and run. His running style is strange though. I think a lot of people have Williams too high and Im not saying he is bad but I think Gallman, Perine, Mack, Nichols, Hill, Curtis, Hunt all should go ahead of him in rookie drafts. I even have Joe Williams right there with him in the late 2nd. 3 months ago Williams was my 1.10. By draft day, I think he will be in my 3rd round. Thats just me though.

JM is being very undervalued based on his production and combine performance. I think him being 5'9 is the biggest turn-off.

Lucky you know what jamaal Williams scarily makes me think of though? Kadeem Carey. I loved Carey on tape (how could you not??) he just simply wasn't a good enough athlete to make it in the NFL as anything more than a backup. Williams might be that guy. Worse sparq score than cook!

Very solid point, and that's what I am also afraid of, watching him. He looks like a nice running back, but probably not special AT ALL. But hey, if he's there in the 3rd round of my rookie draft? I'd like to take a swing at him...

^^^ I don't have 3rd round draft picks but if he is there with one of my mid to late 2nds ( I play in all 16 team leagues) I would take a shot . Honestly usually the combine has very little sway on my draft thoughts but seeing how poorly he tested dropped williams 10 spots probably on my rankings . Love his tape and the toughness he shows but it just might not be enough to ever propel him to a full time role. worth a shot somewhere after 22 -25 range regardless and perhaps a bit higher in the right landing spot.

Mack is kinda my mancrush, so he is my clear top guy out of this group. Average size, above average speed and burst, awesome agility, lots of good production in college including showing well against teams way above the level of his own. I think at worst he plays the Duke Johnson/ Tevin Coleman role for a team early, but he has good enough size to be a 3 down back for teams. If he sneaks into round 3, I am probably adding him in several leagues with late 1sts.

Hiil's landing spot was brutal for the 2017 season which bumps him down but Freeman hasnt signed any extension to my knowledge. Coleman has shown recieving chops so there is still hope for Hill truthers like myself. As soon as Freeman resigns with Atl Hill will fade, sadly.
I still like Aaron Jones and Ty over Jamaal Williams in GB and think Jones will turn into the lead back there by midseason.
The Dougie Martin talk is most likely trade bait and McNichols will do everything Martin and Sims have been doing.
I didnt see the Mack to Indy coming and for some reason I hate it for Marlon Mack. I cant explain it but I dont think Mack is suited for that offense. He will have an oppurtunity though. Would have loved Perine or Hunt in Indy.

-Hill: at least now you probably won't have to use a draft pick on him but still a name to monitor...especially with Freeman's future with ATL being addressed soon.

-McNichols: crowded depth chart with Rodgers, Martin and Sims but JM still checks all boxes. Even Koetter said he's a 3-Down guy who has been a great blocker in Pass Pro. Can probably look to Round 3 or so for McNichols I'd imagine.

-Williams: perfect candidate to be overdrafted, can't say I know much about him but he's never been high on my radar.

-Mack: another guy who's value will be shot into the 2nd RD now, not as high on him pre-draft as McNichols, Joe Williams or Hill but an intriguing situation.
