Honest question. What are your reasons for your stance on Mixon? I have the 1.01 and as of today, I'm 50.1%/49.9% on Mixon over Fournette. I'm in a non-ppr league so I have Cook & McCaffery just behind them.

I'm looking for reasons why Mixon could be a bust. Football reasons, not off the field reasons. The only thing I count against him is the fact he played in the B12, where defense isn't exactly a strength of that conference. (No disrespect to Big 12 fans, that's for an entirely different forum.)

I hold pick 1.05 in my league and I fear in going to have to give up something to move up to 1.03 to get him. His tape is head and shoulders above Cook and as good if not better than fournettes plus he's gonna fall in the NFL draft so he'll prob end up on a better team than the other two. If I had 1.01 and wanted Mixon I'd trade back to 1.03 there is no way most guys in your league are willing to pass on Fournette and Cook for him but he's more talented for sure.

Let's not pretend his off the field issues aren't reason enough. There's a reason football teams are drafting Fournette and others before Mixon. What are some reasons why he should be considered over Fournette aside from an impressive pro day? People are overreacting to his pro day numbers. I'm much more interested in where he is drafted. I think that will be a much more significant indication of his value. This talk of him at 1.01 is absurd.

Just some food for thought. That's at least one scout that has a 1st round grade on Mixon. If he goes in the 1st, I doubt I get him at 1.05

I'll believe it when I see it. I'll change my tune if he goes in the first 2 rounds. I still don't think he's better than Fournette though. Honestly, I won't be drafting him regardless. I know it seems silly for fantasy, but I can't root for a POS like him, so he won't be on my team.

His landing spot will solidify everyone's value, but for now, game tapes & workouts are all we have to go on.
Here's what I see that makes him possibly the best running back prospect.
1. He's a year younger than Cook and almost 2 years younger than Fournette.
2. He has half the touches (365) in college than Fournette (650's), or Cook (700+).
3. At 228lbs, he's nearly 20lbs bigger & just as fast/agile as Cook if not faster.
4. He's a proven pass catcher & blocker which makes him a lock for 3 down duties.
5. As far as I know, Mixon has no injury history. Cook has had 3 shoulder surgeries & fumble issues. 3 surgeries is not a good sign for a back barely weighing in at 210lbs. Fournette has battled injuries as well.

As far as everyone's personal feelings about Mixon, no debate or judgement from me whatsoever. I'm not blind to what he did. Part of the reason why drafting him doesn't bother me is because, to your point this is just fantasy. I won't have to answer to the media for drafting him. FF is just a numbers game to me. But, fwiw I don't think you can go wrong with Fournette either. Win-win for guys that don't want Mixon. If it weren't for his terrible decision, he would be the 1st RB chosen by NFL teams. He's a Zeke clone, physically, and in skillset.

His 40 times at his pro day were all hand timed. I heard he had anywhere from a 4.39-4.48 depending on who clocked him. His shuttle & 3 cone were significantly better than DC's & LF's. I'd have to look up the times though.

I have picks #1 and #2 in my rookie draft (0.3 PPR league) and I'm leaning towards picking Fournette and Mixon at this moment but the NFL draft will be a big factor In making my decision. If Cook slides in the draft and Mixon is picked in the 2nd round, I think that will solidify my picks of Fournette and Mixon. If Cook is still picked in the top 15 and Mixon slides to the 4th round or later, I will be on the fence again and not sure who I'll be picking.

You'll know who to draft after you see where each guy is drafted and their depth charts. I don't think you can really go wrong with any of the 3, but destinations can solidify the pecking order.
